Research that connects Canada with the Middle East and the Gulf.

The Canadian Institute for Middle East and Gulf Studies (CIMEGS) is an independent, not-for-profit research institute based in Mississauga, Ontario. We study the economies, societies, cultures, technologies, and heritage of the Middle East, the Gulf, and North Africa, and we share that knowledge through a journal, a press, an academy, and open events.
