The Canadian Institute for Middle East and Gulf Studies has opened membership applications for the coming year. Membership is the Institute's way of building a lasting community around its research, events, and publications, and it is open to applicants in Canada and worldwide.
Three categories
- Individual membership for scholars, professionals, and engaged readers.
- Student membership for undergraduate and graduate students, with reduced requirements.
- Institutional membership for universities, libraries, research centres, and organizations.
Members receive priority registration for conferences and courses, invitations to members-only briefings, and opportunities to publish and present through the Institute's platforms. Each member is also entitled to receive notice of, attend, and vote at the annual general meeting of members.
How to apply
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Complete the short form on the membership page and the membership office will contact you with the next steps.
