CIMEGS Publishing works with publishers across the Middle East, the Gulf, and North Africa to carry distinguished Arabic titles to an English-language readership. Through translation rights and co-publishing agreements, a book that has found its audience in Arabic can reach libraries, scholars, and readers around the world.

Why partner with us

  • International reach. An English edition, published in open access and in print, opens your title to academic libraries and readers worldwide, and to discovery services such as the Directory of Open Access Books.
  • Scholarly standing. Each title is reviewed by independent scholars and produced to the standards set out in our policies, which adds to the standing of the work and its author.
  • Care for the original. We translate with specialist translators and check the result against the Arabic, so the English edition stays faithful to your book.
  • Clear terms. The rights, the credit, and the terms are set out in a written agreement, and the author and the original publisher are named on every edition.

How it works

You propose a title, or a selection of titles, from your catalogue. We assess each one on scholarly merit, agree the translation rights and the form of the edition, and then fund and manage the translation, editing, and production. The English edition appears under a clear co-publishing or translation-rights agreement, with your house credited throughout.
